Do you have to tip delivery drivers twice if the order was corrected and redelivered?

I always tip the pizza delivery people $4 or $5. Tonight they delivered the wrong pizza (I didn't check until after he left). I realize this is not the driver's fault. When the second guy delivered the right pizza I didn't want to tip him b/c why should I be out another $5 b/c their company messed up? But I felt sorry for him b/c it wasn't his fault. Dilemma! What to do? If I had the money I wouldn't mind, but money's tight...

Do you have to tip delivery drivers twice if the order was corrected and redelivered?
they all work there f a tip when they mess up
Reply:dont have to tip them in the first place..
Reply:No you shouldn't have to tip again, it's not your fault.
Reply:Do not tip the second guy, but let him know why. In doing it this way, the second will know he did his job.
Reply:if it wasnt right the first time i would ask for the first tip back and not even consider a second tip
Reply:you don't have to tip because they have messed up and the delivery should be free.
Reply:give him a buck the second trip
Reply:No, I don't retip; the delivery person should take it up with the manager of the place they work for.
Reply:I would probably tip the second time as well, but not as much. I'm like you and typically tip the pizza guy $5, but like you said, it wasn't his fault the pizza was wrong. Or was it? Hahah. Probably just a careless mistake. I would probably just give him $2 or $3. I would simply feel guilty if i gave him nothing.
Reply:No
Reply:Well, thats one you have to just let go. i only tip a few dollars because the price is already way too much for a pizza! but the petrol in delivery now is a killer! I really wonder how long they can keep it up for? By the way the pizza's in Australia are way overpriced, like all our foods, the public here dont get the benefits of their home products in a reasonable price,

everything is usually too old, and even meat and fish are terrible to eat and terribly priced . GREED! Tourists should take note take extra money for these things. Our pizzas are small too.
Reply:hell no, why would someone reward another for an error in their job? It's their job to double check the orders that they deliver. Even though mistakes do happen, people don't need to be rewarded for them.
