C.C. Sabathia - Cleveland Indians?

C.C. Sabathia just got rocked again for 9 earned on 8 hits and five walks and surrendered 2 more HR against Detroit. In his past two starts he has given up 18 ER. This will push his era up to aroun 18 and his WHIP to around 3.00. So the question is this:

Even if C.C. goes on a tear what do you suppose his final ERA and WHIP is going to be at the end of the season? (or if he don't go on a tear)

Also how many wins is he going to get?

Will this be the biggest downfall year of a pitcher who was a CY Young winner the previous year?

C.C. Sabathia - Cleveland Indians?
If he pitches the way he did last year the rest of the season. Say 200 IP with 72 ER and 230 H+BB(thats a 3.24 ERA and 1.15 WHIP) the rest of the way. His numbers will only be:

4.27 ERA and 1.27 WHIP for the season. I doubt he'll pitch that well but he has to improve. Doesn't he. Maybe being overweight has finally caught up with him.

My gut predictions for final stats are:

11 W 14 L

4.96 ERA

1.40 WHIP

165 K's
Reply:1.42 WHIP

4.62 ERA

14-13 record

And not to mention he will be kicking himself in the teeth for rejecting the Indians 20 Million $$ a year offer they threw at him in February.

I think the contract expectations are getting to him.
Reply:he is almost at the point where you cant recover. I dont know what he did over the offseason but he did it wrong. this is such a huge downfall. my guess is he will end with 8 wins and a 5.6 ERA
Reply:no mroe than 15 wins with a high 5 era. makes the market for him very unlucrative this year
Reply:I do not think he is going to do the best people think he's all about! I thin he is ok but will choke!
Reply:GO TIGERS
