my boyfriend can reach middle C, the C below middle C, and the C 2 octaves below middle C. (so all 3 Cs below and including middle C)is he a bass or a bass-baritone?
also. . .what kind of famous bass(-baritone) pop music(preferably rock) singers are there? examples required.
I'm having a hard time reccomanding the right song/artist for him to exercise on because he seems to have trouble finding the right scale. thank you. :)

I would say he's closer to a baritone. A good example of a baritone would be Joey Fatone from NSync. When looking at sheet music, he'd be singing on the bass line (the bottom one).
